Well, we made it! We've checked into our hotel (Club Quarters) and can honestly say that we've never seen a smaller hotel room. It's very nice but literally about the same size as our laundry room! Guess that's the price you pay to be right downtown. While Mark worked a bit in our room, I wandered around and it's very strange to just walk down the street and see the White House. We're heading out to find supper. Lots of cool restaurants everywhere.

Evan says that he is going to use the picture you posted of the White House. He just happens to have a social studies assignment that it will work for! Emily says to tell you that today is Mrs. Frederick's birthday too! They had caramel apple suckers for a treat from her.
We did ok with all the afterschool activities today and are now preparing for a Wii sports tournament. We know who will be losing that :)
As we were eating our white chicken chili, we were wondering what you guys were doing for supper. Bet you found some place neat and romantic to celebrate your birthday. Emily says to tell you that we all miss you.
