It is with tired feet and sore legs that we blog tonight. We had a great day. Started by exploring Times Square and making our way to Central Park. We loved the Central Park Zoo and were continually amazed that such great green space was nestled among the skyscrapers. We wandered through the Natural History Museum, looking for our favorite characters from the movie Night at the Museum. When I asked her, Emily said her favorite part of today was going to the 4-story Toys R Us store in Times Square. Evan's highlight may have been a trip to Nintendo World. Mark and I continued to gawk at things like Trump Plaza, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall and all the famous retail stores.

We hope to wake with renewed energy as we plan to tackle the southern part of Manhattan tomorrow-sites like the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero and China Town. I wished I would have worn a pedometer today....seemed like a lot of miles walked. Tomorrow, we'll be taking the subway. :o)
Hello weary travelers. So good to hear about your day. Sounds like you really had fun and did such a variety of things. Something for everyone for sure. Glad the kids hung in there with all the walking. Your pictures are great. Maybe your day tomorrow will be a little easier. All is well here. Sadie is doing just fine.
