Yesterday we drove to a beautiful rocky canyon area and set off on what turned out to be a long and strenuous uphill hike. Our goal was a natural arch and sadly we turned around just short of it. Lots of tired and crabby kids and as Evan explained, if we got there it would just be more of the same rocks...not worth it. Ok.
We went out for a great supper and had full and tired kids. One more day until we had to say good bye. There are going to be some sad cousins.
